Glasgow based musician, composer, arranger and educator. Giancarlo has performed across the world and can regularly be found performing across the UK as a sideman, band leader, function work, recording dates and theatre pits.
Graduating in 2012 from the lain Tomlin School of Music, Edinburgh Napier University, Giancarlo has studied with some of Scotland's leading bass players including Ed McFarlane, Mario Caribe, Andy Mitchell and Euan Burton. As well as classical double bass with Magarida Castro of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Alongside Scotland's finest musicians Giancarlo has been fortunate enough to study with world renowned bassists such as Anthony Wellington, Jeff Berlin, Janek Gwizdala and Sharay Reed.
As a passionate educator Giancarlo is available for private tuition. Lessons can be in person or online with students studying from across the globe.
